LASTBOLT is a six-player mech brawl in a scrapyard where only the last bolt pays. Scrap bots camp the yard; chip at them all you like, but the gold goes to whoever lands the finishing hit.
How to play LASTBOLT
A match lasts 12 minutes. Most knockouts wins, and the next match starts by itself. Rooms seat six, and bots fill every empty seat.
You never fight alone: three crew bots follow you and fight beside you. Shoot with the twin bolt cannons, or swap to the blade and cut in close.
Your ability fires the moment you press it — an overcharged bolt, or a spin cleave that hits everything around you. Fill your meter in fights and unleash OVERDRIVE.
When you are scrapped, the shop opens: weapon mods, plating, a reactor, and shield, medic, sniper or swarm crews, each with three tiers. One item per row, and you can sell to switch builds.
Supply crates parachute in for whoever holds the spot, the vault in the centre opens with a warden inside, and buff pads power you up. The last two minutes are OVERTIME, when every knockout pays double.
Controls
Keyboard and mouse
- WASD or the arrow keys to move, or hold right click to move toward the cursor.
- Aim with the mouse; left click fires the cannons or swings the blade.
- SPACE dashes; hold SHIFT to glide on your boot jets over low cover.
- Q is your ability, R is OVERDRIVE when the meter is full, E swaps gun and blade.
- TAB shows the scoreboard, 1 to 6 are emotes, ESC opens settings.
- In the shop: click an item to buy, SELL to sell it back, and SPACE or the drop pod to drop back in once it lights up.
Phone and tablet
LASTBOLT needs a keyboard and mouse; it does not run on touch screens.
Tips
- Last hits are everything. Let the scrap bots soak up damage from anyone, then time your shot for the finishing blow.
- Kill streaks pay: three knockouts in a row give a FREE BUFF, five give EAGLE EYE so you see much farther, and seven call AIR STRIKES down on every rival.
- GLIDE is both an escape and a chase. Holding SHIFT carries you over low cover, out of a bad fight or onto a rival who thinks they got away.
- Experiment in the shop: change your mind on the same visit and selling gives you a full refund.
- Plan for OVERTIME. In the last two minutes every knockout pays double, so a strong build going into it can still swing the match.
