WOBBLE LEAGUE has one verb: hold to charge, release to lunge. Knock everyone else off the disc and into the sea, and stay on it yourself.
How to play WOBBLE LEAGUE
Eight players share the disc; bots fill any empty seat. A fall puts you back in two seconds later.
Every few minutes the table votes for the next cassette — the ruleset for the next stretch of play.
Play with whoever is online, or share an invite link and bring your own table.
Controls
Keyboard and mouse
- Point the mouse to move, or use WASD or the arrow keys.
- Hold the left mouse button, Space or J to charge; release to lunge.
- Keys 1–4 vote for the next cassette.
- Tab opens the locker, H shows how to play, M mutes.
Phone and tablet
- Drag on the left half of the screen to move.
- Hold the LUNGE button on the right to charge, release to lunge.
Modes
- CLASSIC — the plain disc.
- BOOST — pads that supercharge your next lunge.
- RINGS — holes drop out of the floor.
- SHRINK — the edge crumbles inward.
- FIRE RING — standing in the flames charges your MEGA.
- BUMPERS — pinball bumpers that fire anyone who touches them.
Tips
- A full charge takes about half a second. Let go in the brief window right after it fills for a PERFECT lunge: faster and harder-hitting.
- Do not over-hold. Keep charging past a second and you stumble and sit helpless for most of a second.
- You crawl at about a third of your speed while charging, so line the shot up before you start holding.
- The MEGA meter fills from hits, KOs and hits taken — a KO counts four times a hit. A MEGA LUNGE hits more than twice as hard and blasts everyone near the target, but you lose it if you fall first, and the bots go after whoever is carrying one.
- On BOOST, stand on a pad for most of a second to load the boosted lunge before you go looking for a target.
