A new look for Freeplay

A brighter arcade, one menu for every kind of game, and a written guide on every game page.

Freeplay looks different. The site used to be dark ink with amber light; it is now the colour we call arcade berry, with the same amber joystick logo.

The front page is the games and nothing else. The menu on the left is how you change what you see: all games, the games you saved, or one kind of game. Every entry has its own key cap, a coloured arcade button with a picture you can read without the label: crossed swords for arena games, a globe for multiplayer, an hourglass for idle games.

Every game page now carries a full written guide: how a round works, the controls on keyboard and on touch, the modes, tips, and what you earn. The How to play page at the top of the site collects them all in one place.

This news page is new too. When a game launches or an update changes how it plays, we will write it up here.
