LASTBOLT: a six-player mech brawl
Only the last bolt pays. Twelve-minute matches, crew bots, a death shop and a crane claw full of figurines.
LASTBOLT launched on Freeplay on 20 October. Six mechs share a scrapyard full of scrap bots, and the gold goes to whoever lands the finishing hit. Three crew bots fight beside you, the shop opens when you are scrapped, and the last two minutes of every twelve-minute match are OVERTIME, when every knockout pays double.
The launch build added gliding on boot jets (hold SHIFT to fly over low cover), selling items to switch builds, SCRAP earned every match, the CRANE CLAW figurine collection, achievements, a ranked board and smarter bots.
The first days of updates followed what players ran into. Landing the last hit on the vault warden now gives you its weapon for sixty seconds: a flamer and a fire blade. Private rooms show their code with a COPY button so it is easy to send. The tutorial can be replayed and skipped, the settings never pause a match, and the results card highlights your own row.
LASTBOLT needs a keyboard and mouse. The full controls are on the game page.
